At the Lick Creek Star Party I helped out with a variety of activities under the pavilion. I helped with face-painting, directing guests to different locations, helping out with directing guests and helping out wherever else the RPTS group needed us! 

I learned what it looks like to help where needed and its okay to move volunteers around in spaces where you need them as compared to where they were originally assigned. There was an extreme excess amount of volunteers which made it difficult at times to find things to do, yet at the same time benefitted the overall feel and excitement to the atmosphere.The group did really well at moving us around in order to ensure that the event went smoothly.

The purpose of this event is to partner between RPTS and College Station Parks & Rec with a goal to get the community engaged in the outdoors.
